Connecting Oxford to the Heart of Latin America
Who We Are
The Oxford Latin American Society (OLAS) is a dynamic and inclusive community that promotes awareness and appreciation of Latin American cultures and issues. Before its dissolution during the pandemic, our society had a long history of hosting some of the most engaging and enjoyable events at Oxford, and we are thrilled to revive this tradition.
OLAS is a place where people come together to learn about the region's diverse cultures, histories, and current affairs. Through our events, we aim to foster understanding and dialogue while celebrating the rich heritage of Latin America.
What We Offer:

1
A platform for showcasing Latin American culture, politics, and history
2
A welcoming community to connect with others who share your interests
3
A range of events, from academic discussions and networking opportunities to cultural festivities and social gatherings
